Founded in 1957, The Independent Finance Association of Illinois (IFAI) is a not for profit trade organization which has represented the interests of traditional consumer lenders in the state of Illinois for over 50 years. Its members provide credit to consumers for the purchase of automobiles, household goods and other items of personal property and also extend closedend direct installment loans.
